In this class you will:

explore how to work with a book resist to create a sculpture within a sculpture.
Once you get to grips with the book resist technique, you can go on to create a wide range of sculptural pieces and even wearables.

This beautiful sculpture can also be used in many ways — as a light, a table centrepiece, or even as a flower vase.

A Sculpture Close to My Heart

This sculpture is very special to me. It was part of my solo exhibition Felting Connections, and I called it The Safety Net of the National Health. It is my tribute to the medical staff at Sunderland Hospital who cared for me during the darkest time of my life, while I was going through leukaemia treatment.
